Back-to-School Uniform Drive Seeks Community Donations.

As families prepare for the new school year, a local effort is collecting school uniforms to help students head back to class with confidence.

Donations are being accepted through August 5 for a Back-to-School event on August 8, where uniforms will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to students from Pre-K through high school.

Organizers are looking for khaki pants, khaki shorts, skorts, jeans, and white or navy polo shirts in all sizes.

Donations can be dropped off at LVTRise Community Center, 8201 Calmont Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76116. Anyone unable to deliver items can also arrange for pickup with the organizer.

A few gently used uniforms can make a meaningful difference for local students as they get ready for the first day of school.
