After a weather interruption forced changes to the schedule, the Roy Woolsey Tournament is back in action.
Benbrook Youth Baseball & Softball Association announced that tournament schedules were updated to accommodate games postponed earlier in the week. League officials had been waiting on confirmation from the city regarding field conditions before making a final decision.
By Tuesday afternoon, players and families received the news they were hoping for: the fields were deemed playable, and all scheduled games were cleared to proceed as planned.
For tournament teams eager to get back on the diamond, it was a welcome update after a stretch of uncertain weather.
