Families heading to Roy Woolsey this evening may want to double-check their schedules.
The waiting game is over for Benbrook youth baseball and softball families.
As of 6:05 p.m., the Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association announced that all games scheduled for this evening at Roy Woolsey Park have been canceled.
League officials said efforts are already underway to reschedule the affected games, with updated schedules expected by tomorrow morning.
BYBSA thanked players, parents, coaches, and volunteers for their patience as weather and field conditions forced the decision.
While no one likes a rainout, it’s part of the game this time of year in North Texas. For now, players can put the cleats away for the evening and keep an eye out for tomorrow’s scheduling update.
