Summer nights in Benbrook are starting to sound a little louder.
The Backyard at Jakes / Tacos & Avocados has released its latest live music lineup, bringing a mix of local artists and weekend entertainment to 9300 Benbrook Boulevard throughout the month.
Among the featured performers is Fort Worth musician Chloe Cowdrey, who is scheduled to take the stage on May 29. Cowdrey’s style blends country, pop, worship, and classic rock, giving listeners a little bit of everything during a laid-back evening outdoors.
The Backyard’s upcoming lineup also includes Tommy Luke, TRVR?, Joshua Dutton, Alejandro Terra, The Dischords, and Jason Wilkinson across multiple dates this month.
For many Benbrook residents, spots like The Backyard have quietly become neighborhood gathering places where families, friends, and newcomers can grab dinner, relax outside, and enjoy live music without making the drive into downtown Fort Worth.
With warmer weather settling in and patios filling back up across the area, local venues are leaning into live entertainment as a way to bring the community together one night at a time.
