Benbrook’s Glanzer Sisters Lead the Way at Golf Regionals.

BENBROOK, TX — On a course where every stroke matters, two Benbrook golfers showed just how steady they can be when it counts.

At last week’s UIL Region 1-4A tournament in Lubbock, senior Avery Glanzer secured her place in the state tournament for the fourth straight year, shooting back-to-back rounds of 74. It is a level of consistency that has become familiar, and it keeps her among the top competitors in the region.

Close behind, Campbell Glanzer turned in a strong showing of her own with rounds of 78 and 73, finishing as the first alternate for the state. She missed qualifying by a single stroke.

Both performances reflect the kind of focus that builds over time, having played their way into the conversation, which says plenty about where Benbrook’s program stands right now.
