Friday night felt like more than just another game at Benbrook Softball Field. It was Senior Night, and the Lady Bobcats made sure it ended the right way for Maddy Davila.

From the start, the Lady Bobcats took control. Madison Canada set the tone in the circle, working quickly and confidently, holding the Carter Riverside Lady Eagles hitless while striking out six over three innings.
At the plate, the game broke open early. The Lady Bobcats sent runners across in waves during a 13-run first inning, with key hits from Natalya Muzquiz, Jolie Hornbeck, Mya Vasquez, and others. By the time the inning ended, the outcome was already taking shape.

The Lady Eagles stayed engaged and slowed the scoring in the second, but could not break through against Canada. The Lady Bobcats added to the lead in the third and closed out a 15-0 win.
Vasquez led the lineup with three RBIs, while Boswell and Hornbeck each collected two hits. The team showed patience throughout, drawing six walks and stealing six bases.

For Davila, the night ended with a win on her home field, surrounded by teammates who have helped carry Benbrook to the top of the standings.
The Lady Bobcats now sit at 17-12 overall and remain unbeaten in district play at 10-0. They will head to Dunbar next week looking to finish district play strongly.
