The Benbrook Bobcats faced a tough challenge on Friday night, falling 9-1 to the athletic Wyatt Chaparrals, who are boasting an impressive 8-1 record.
While the loss stings, the Bobcats are taking it in stride as they look to bounce back from a tough stretch. They have lost four of their last five games, and their record now stands at 2-5 for the season.
But the Bobcats aren’t dwelling on the defeat. They’re gearing up for district play, with a home game against Diamond Hill-Jarvis tonight at 8 p.m, and then hit the road on Friday to face-off against the Southwest Raiders.
