Lady Bobcats Golf Sets the Pace with Record Opening Round.

It did not take long for the Benbrook Lady Bobcats golf team to make a statement.

At the Centennial 27 Hole Invitational at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose, Texas, the team surged into first place after the opening round, posting a school record score of 326. It was a performance built on steady play, confidence, and a lineup that delivered across the board.

• Benbrook: 1st place, 326 total
• Argyle: 2nd place, 329
• Burleson Centennial: 3rd place, 340

Blazingly leading the way, Avery Glanzer turned in a standout round of 67, setting a new school record while also marking a personal best in tournament play. Her round placed her firmly at the top of the individual leaderboard and set the tone early.

Jessica Anzaldua added to the momentum with a personal record score of 81, continuing a strong day for the Lady Bobcats as they separated from the field, as the results indicate:

• Avery Glanzer: 1st place, 67, five under par
• Campbell Glanzer: 6th place, seven over par
• Jessica Anzaldua: 7th place, nine over par
• Madison Willson: 18th place, 27 over par
• Bay Bradshaw: 27th place, 55 over par
