Bobcats Bats Stay Hot in District Victory.

The Benbrook Bobcats are finding their rhythm at the right time.

Heading into Spring Break undefeated in district play, the Bobcats kept the momentum going Monday with a dominant 20-4 win over Southwest Raiders. From the first inning on, it was clear this lineup came ready to swing.

Ethan Tucker and Brennan Barton got things started early, helping the Bobcats jump out to a quick lead. From there, the offense never slowed down, piling up runs across multiple innings and finishing with 21 hits on the day.

Jakim Velasquez led the charge at the plate with three hits in three at-bats, while Barton added four hits. Cameron Crampton and Trentin Hornbeck delivered key runs, and several others contributed in a lineup that stayed aggressive from top to bottom.

On the mound, Tanny Madara set the tone. He held the Raiders scoreless through the first three innings, allowing just one unearned run over four innings while striking out nine and issuing no walks.

By the middle innings, the game had opened up. A five-run third and a six-run fourth put the 20-4 result out of reach and victoriously gave the Bobcats full control.

With the win, the Bobcats improve to 10-7-1 overall and 3-0 in district, sitting in first place as they head into the heart of the schedule.

They return home for a midweek rematch against Southwest, looking to keep the streak going and build on a strong start to district play.
