As spring weather arrives in Benbrook, a local fitness group is inviting residents to get outside, stay active, and meet new people through a series of free Wednesday night events.
The Benbrook Fitness Collective is kicking off alternating weekly gatherings designed to bring the community together through simple, social activities.
The first event, Blading the Trinity, begins March 18 and invites participants to rollerblade along the Trinity River trails.
The following week, beginning March 25, the group will host Beginner Pickleball for those interested in learning or practicing the fast-growing sport.
Organizers say the goal is to create an easy and welcoming way for adults to connect while enjoying the outdoors and staying active. All events are free and open to adults age 21 and older.
Residents interested in participating can find event details and RSVP through the group’s Meetup page at https://www.meetup.com/benbrook-fitness-collective.
With longer days and warmer evenings returning to North Texas, the weekly gatherings offer a simple way for neighbors to get outside, move a little, and meet others who enjoy the same.
