On most spring nights at Dutch Branch Park, the coaches are the ones calling the shots from the dugout. On March 13, they will be the ones stepping into the batter’s box.
The Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association is hosting its first Coaches’ Softball Game on Friday, March 13, 2026, beginning at 6 PM on Field 7. The event is free and open to the community.
The evening will feature a full slate of friendly competition. The Ice Pack All Stars face the Benchwarmers at 6 PM, followed by the Raiders versus Pre Game Ibuprofen at 7:15 PM. The championship game between the winners is set for 8:30 PM.
Concessions will be available throughout the night, and attendees can enter a raffle for a chance to win a custom-painted helmet.
For families who spend much of the season cheering from the stands, this event flips the script. It is a chance to watch the familiar faces who guide practices and games trade clipboards for gloves and bats, all in the name of community and fun.
Mark the calendar, bring a lawn chair, and enjoy a relaxed night at the ballpark with neighbors and friends.
