As spring baseball and softball return to Benbrook, the Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association is asking the community to take a quick look in the garage.
Gently used bats, gloves, helmets, and other gear in good condition are being collected and will be made available to players enrolled in BYBSA this season. The goal is simple. Make sure every child who signs up has what they need to step onto the field ready to play.
Donations will be accepted through team moms, and equipment will be available for pickup on March 12 at 6 pm.
For families, this is one of those small acts that can make a big difference. A glove your child has outgrown could become the one another player uses to learn the game.
As opening day approaches, BYBSA is focused on giving kids a great start to the season. To learn more about the association and how to get involved, visit https://www.bybsa.org.
In Benbrook, baseball and softball are more than games. They are part of growing up. This drive helps make sure no one sits out.
