On Tuesday, Globe Life Field turned a bold shade of pink as Leslie Cowdrey joined supporters of the Pink Tie Guys, a group of men committed to raising funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer through Susan G. Komen.
The Pink Tie Guys are easy to spot. They wear bright pink ties as a visible pledge to stand with the women and families affected by breast cancer. Across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, men are stepping up for mothers, wives, daughters, friends, and neighbors whose lives have been touched by a diagnosis.
For Cowdrey, a breast cancer survivor, the mission is personal. She knows firsthand that cancer does not just disrupt health. It can reshape finances, interrupt careers, and alter long-term plans. As someone who also works with families preparing for the unexpected, she understands how important it is to have protection in place before a crisis hits.
