Postseason basketball is officially headed to Benbrook, as recently shared by Benbrook Hoops on Instagram earlier this afternoon.
The Benbrook Bobcats Boys Basketball secured a playoff berth for the 2025–2026 season with a Friday night win over Carter Riverside, locking in their spot after weeks of steady district play.
The celebration does not last long, though. A busy and meaningful week is ahead, starting with a matchup against the high-flying Dunbar Wildcats at Wilkerson-Greines gym this Tuesday. The boys tip off at 6:00 pm, followed by the girls at 7:30 pm. It is a chance for fans to show support as both programs continue their late-season push.
Then, at the end of this week, Friday night brings another highlight as the Bobcats return to Billingsley Field House for Senior Night against Diamond Hill-Jarvis. Games are set for 6:00 and 7:30 pm, honoring seniors while building momentum heading into the postseason.
With playoff basketball secured and home court energy ahead, Bobcat Nation has plenty of reasons to show up and be loud this week.
