The Benbrook Bobcats kept their momentum rolling Wednesday morning at the Aggieland Invitational, taking the floor at 10:30 am with one goal in mind: stay unbeaten.
They did just that, grinding out a tough 58–53 win over the Hudson Hornets in a game that stayed tight until the final minutes. The victory pushed Benbrook to 13–6 on the season and a clean 3–0 mark in tournament play.
The Bobcats now turn their attention to a familiar opponent. They return to the court at 3 pm to face Life Waxahachie, a team that handed the Bobcats a 75–43 loss earlier this season. Can the Bobcats avenge this loss in tournament play? Whether they can or not will be answered this afternoon.
On the girls’ side, the Benbrook Lady Bobcats tipped off at noon against the Alvarado Lady Indians. No score was available at the time of this report.
