Winter Break is officially underway for Fort Worth ISD families, giving students and staff a chance to rest and recharge for the new year.
There will be no school from December 19 through January 5. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, across the district.
Families are encouraged to enjoy the holiday season, travel safely, and take advantage of the extended time together. When students return in January, they will be stepping back into classrooms refreshed and ready to start the next stretch of the school year.
