Benbrook Middle-High School has plenty to celebrate after a strong showing at this year’s district band auditions. Dozens of students put in the work, stepped up to the challenge, and represented Benbrook with pride.
Several musicians earned top chairs in their sections. Kaden secured the 2nd chair clarinet, with Ruth close behind at 5th. Bailey claimed the 1st chair alto sax, while Daniel earned the 1st chair bari sax. The trumpet section featured Carrington in the 3rd chair and Joel in the 6th. Juliano took 1st chair tuba, and the percussion line saw Parker in 1st, Caleb in 2nd, and Nat in 6th.
Benbrook also landed a strong slate of alternates, including Kira on clarinet, Ella on bass clarinet, Charles on tenor sax, and Brady on euphonium, each earning 1st alternate positions.
The work behind these results started long before audition day, and the community has every reason to be proud. These students continue to raise the bar for music education in Benbrook.
