Benbrook’s City Council met on November 17 to formally certify the results of the November 4 municipal election, closing out a smooth and decisive voting cycle for the community.
Mayor Jason Ward reconfirmed his leadership with 3,452 votes, securing another term in Place 1. Ryan Reagan won Place 3 with 2,192 votes, Sean Moore earned Place 5 with 1,844 votes, and Keith Tiner captured Place 7 with 1,759 votes. With clear margins in each race, the council confirmed that no run-off election would be needed.
Once results were canvassed, the council unanimously approved Resolution 2025-10, officially seating the newly elected members for two-year terms.
The evening also carried a moment of gratitude. The City extended its thanks to Dr. Larry Marshall for 27 years of service and to Gary Addison for 4 years of dedication to the Benbrook community. Both departures mark the end of notable chapters in local leadership.
The meeting wrapped quickly, adjourning at 5:03 p.m., closing a brief but meaningful session centered on civic continuity and appreciation for those who have invested decades into Benbrook’s progress.
