A quiet but significant shift may be underway inside Fort Worth ISD.
According to FWISD Watchdog, the district is preparing to merge Western Hills Elementary School and Western Hills Primary into a single campus. Both schools are currently designated as ACE campuses, a state-supported model that focuses on improving academic performance through extended learning time, strong leadership, and targeted support.
While FWISD has not yet released an official announcement, the move would streamline resources and centralize services for families in the Western Hills community. ACE campuses often undergo structural changes, such as staffing adjustments, schedule expansions, and campus consolidations, to better serve students who need higher levels of support.
Families in the area can expect more details from the district as plans move forward.
