The Benbrook Public Library continues to surprise with its MetroShare LOT collection, where library cards unlock more than just books.
One of the newest featured items is the “Let’s Play Hunt for Treasure Kit,” a kid-friendly metal detector set designed to spark curiosity and hours of outdoor exploration.
The kit comes complete with everything young adventurers need to search, dig, and discover, making it a fun and educational way to spend time outside. It’s just one example of how the library is reimagining what it means to check something out.
