The Benbrook Bobcats are quickly earning their nickname as the “cardiac cats.” In another heart-stopping matchup, they clawed their way past the Whitney Wildcats with a 52-48 victory.
The game at Farrington Field was a shootout from the start, with both offenses trading big plays. By halftime, Benbrook was hanging onto a narrow 38-34 lead. Despite being a 28-point underdog, the Bobcats refused to fold and instead lit up the scoreboard once again, continuing their season average of nearly 50 points per game.
