The Benbrook Barracudas just made a serious splash at the Lone Star State Swim Meet, coming home with a first-place finish in the small team division.
After four packed days full of cheers, fierce races, and even a coaches relay for good measure, the team walked away with five high point winners and four shattered state records.
It wasn’t just about the medals. The energy, grit, and team spirit on display showed exactly why this group stands out. Credit goes to the swimmers, the parents who volunteered behind the scenes, and of course, Coaches Lexi, Abby, and Malachi, whose leadership helped power the Barracudas to victory.
Benbrook has reason to be proud. These kids didn’t just swim. They represented their community with heart.
