Last week, a few special guests with feathers, fur, and scales helped bring local wildlife to life at the Benbrook Public Library.
The library welcomed educators from the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, who introduced visitors to several animal ambassadors while sharing fascinating facts about the wildlife that calls North Texas home. The hands-on program gave children and families an up-close look at some of the creatures they might encounter in their own backyards, parks, and natural areas.
Programs like these continue to be a popular part of the library’s summer offerings, combining learning, curiosity, and fun for all ages.
Residents looking for upcoming activities can find the library’s full calendar of events at benbrooklibrary.org/events/month.
