As schools prepare for the 2026-27 academic year, Western Hills High School is looking to add several educators to its team.
The Benbrook campus is currently hiring for Choir, Biology, and multiple Math teaching positions as part of a broader effort to strengthen instructional programs and student success.
According to Fort Worth ISD, starting teacher pay begins at $67,725, with additional compensation available for bilingual and dual-language teachers, as well as special education instructors. The district also offers stipend opportunities for advanced degrees.
Prospective candidates will have an opportunity to meet campus leaders and learn more about available positions at the upcoming Fort Worth ISD Careers Hiring Fair on Wednesday, June 24, at 4 p.m. The event will be held at the FWISD Teaching and Learning Center, 1050 Bridgewood Drive in Fort Worth.
Those interested in joining the Western Hills Cougars or exploring other opportunities across the district can apply and register for the hiring fair at Fort Worth ISD Careers.
For teachers considering their next chapter, Western Hills is hoping that chapter begins in Benbrook.
