Western Hills Girls Soccer Looks Ahead After Tough Night Against Castleberry.

Tuesday night was a challenging one for the Western Hills Lady Cougars, who fell 7-1 to the Castleberry Lady Lions in their Jan. 6 matchup.

The scoreline told a very different story from the teams’ previous meeting, which ended 2-0. This time, Castleberry found its stride early and never let up, continuing a recent run of success against Western Hills. The loss marked the eighth straight time the Lady Cougars have come up short against the Lady Lions.

The defeat dropped Western Hills to 0-5 on the season, but the schedule offers a quick opportunity to regroup. The Lady Cougars will be back on the field Friday night at 6:30 p.m. when they take on Kennedale, a chance to reset and keep building as the season moves forward.

For a young squad still searching for its first win, the focus now shifts to growth, resilience, and responding with effort when the whistle blows again.
