Western Hills High School football players and parents carried on a tradition this past week that means just as much off the field as it does on it.
Ahead of the Cougars’ season opener against the North Side Steers on Saturday, August 30, players gathered with their families to decorate helmets with team stickers. This ritual blends pride, unity, and community spirit.
Among those lending a hand were Tiffany and longtime alum Patty Pressley, a Cougar supporter who never misses the chance to encourage her team. For many, it’s more than stickers on helmets. It’s about reinforcing the idea that Every Person Influences Culture, a message that resonates with the entire Cougar family.
