BENBROOK, TX — As the next school year approaches, the Western Hills High School Cougar Band is turning to the community for support to keep its program moving forward.
The group has launched a fundraiser to cover essential costs that often go unseen but have a lasting impact. From contest entry fees to private instruction and performance materials, these resources help shape both the quality of performances and the experience students take with them beyond the stage.
Leaders behind the effort say the goal is simple: give students access to better opportunities and the tools they need to grow. That includes expanding learning experiences and strengthening the program as a whole.
More than an extracurricular event, the Cougar Band is where discipline, creativity, and confidence come together, one rehearsal at a time.
Community members can support the fundraiser by donating, sharing the campaign, or offering their time. Contributions go directly toward sustaining and building the band’s upcoming season.
