Volunteer Readers Needed for Student Literacy Events.

Looking for a simple way to give back? Local schools are opening the door.

Fort Worth ISD is inviting community members to serve as volunteer readers for Children’s Book Day on Thursday, April 2. Shifts are available throughout the day at participating campuses, giving volunteers a chance to spend time with students and share the joy of reading.

It is a small act that can leave a lasting impression. Sitting down with a child and reading a story may seem simple, but moments like that often stick.
