From the fairways at Colonial to the pool at TCU, the latest episode of Frogs in a Pod covers plenty of Horned Frog ground.
The TCU Athletics podcast heads to Colonial Country Club for the Ben Hogan Collegiate, then returns to the Home Zone Studios for a conversation with TCU Head Swimming & Diving Coach James Winchester.
Winchester looks back on his eight years at TCU and the four words that have helped shape the program’s culture: Trust, Process, Work and Family, or TPWF.
The conversation also turns to Nina’s historic season, which saw her become TCU’s first female NCAA swimming qualifier since 2012, and the mix of backgrounds represented across the Horned Frogs roster.
Away from the pool, Winchester talks about his English roots, raising a family in Fort Worth, and even a little Ted Lasso.
The conversation gives Frog fans a chance to get to know the coach behind the program and the culture TCU Swimming & Diving has built around TPWF.
