Spring evenings are stretching a little longer in Benbrook, and so are the tee times.
Starting March 9, Benbrook Par 3 and Range will stay open until 10 pm on Mondays, giving golfers a little more daylight and a little less rush after work. Two days later, on March 11, the course will host a Scramble Night beginning at 6:30 pm and running until close.
There is more than golf on the card. The taco family, which has become a local favorite, is returning for the event, turning the night into a mix of friendly competition and good food. It is a pairing that fits this course well. A casual round under the lights, tacos in hand, neighbors catching up between swings.
