Motorcycle patrols have been regularly posted along Ventana Parkway, especially near the amenity center and pool roundabout. Residents say the long stretches of open road have become a magnet for speeders, and the Fort Worth police have taken notice.
Some drivers may see it as a trap, but many neighbors are relieved. Reports of reckless driving and excessive speed have turned peaceful streets into a dangerous sprint lane. Officers have also been spotted clocking drivers along Trail Ridge and Jerry Dunn Parkway, with locals now hoping for more patrols in high-speed trouble spots, such as Castle Peak Bend.
