Service at the Heart of Leadership.

For longtime Benbrook resident and City Council member Keith Tiner, serving others is more than a role—it’s a way of life. From coaching youth soccer to volunteering at church and leading PTA initiatives, Tiner’s record of service stretches across nearly every corner of the community.

His commitment to giving back started early, shaped by parents who believed that helping others was simply part of being a good neighbor. That mindset has carried through his adult life, influencing everything from his time on the Hills of Whitestone HOA board to his years of involvement with local schools. He has held multiple PTA leadership positions, including Vice President of Fundraising, Treasurer, and Dads Club Lead, even earning a Lifetime PTA Membership for his contributions.

Tiner’s hands-on approach also extended to the soccer field, where he spent seasons mentoring young players, encouraging teamwork, and teaching self-confidence. His dedication earned him the Kyle Hicks Memorial Coaches Award from the Fort Worth Youth Soccer Association.

Beyond sports and schools, Tiner remains active in his church, serving on the Sunday Morning Media Team and volunteering at the National Youth Gathering. For him, every opportunity to serve is a chance to strengthen community bonds and invest in the next generation.

As he continues his role on the Benbrook City Council, Tiner’s focus remains unchanged: to use his gifts and time to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
