RM 2871 Construction Causing Major Delays in Both Directions.

Benbrook drivers, take note: roadwork on RM 2871 is slowing things down in a big way. If you’re headed between US 377 and I-20, expect long backups and heavy delays in both directions.

Crews are currently coring the western side of RM 2871 near the AP Ranch entrance. Only one lane is open, with traffic alternating every few minutes. A construction worker is manually flipping signs between stop and slow, causing backups stretching past HighRidge Church on one end and well beyond the I-20 exit on the other.

If you can, steer clear and find an alternate route. This traffic pattern may last a while, and updates will be shared as more info becomes available.
