Thursday morning’s heavy rain has left Benbrook’s ballfields too wet for play.
The Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association has closed all fields for the evening and canceled tonight’s blastball games.
The good news for BYBSA’s youngest ballplayers is that they will not have to wait long for another turn at the plate. The games have been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, at their originally scheduled times.
For tonight, the gloves can stay dry, and the cleats can stay clean.
