A tragic hit-and-run has left authorities asking for the public’s help just east of Benbrook. On Thursday, September 18, 2025, a pedestrian was struck and killed in the 6600 block of Northwest Loop 820 on the eastbound service road before Quebec Street.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved is a black Toyota Corolla, model year 2009 or 2010. The car is expected to have noticeable front-right damage and is missing its passenger-side mirror.
The Fort Worth Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is urging anyone with information to come forward. Residents who may have seen the vehicle, know of recent body damage on a car matching the description, or have surveillance footage from the area are encouraged to share what they know.
