Benbrook resident Carlos Medina died Sept. 28 at his family’s home following a battle with cancer. He was 70.
Medina is remembered as a hardworking man who enjoyed simple things that kept him outdoors and close to the people he loved. He spent his time gardening and growing fruits and vegetables, building things, fishing, boating, and, most of all, being with family.
His family also shared a special thank you to Nancy Medina for the care, strength, and devotion she gave Carlos throughout his battle with cancer.
