Multi-Car Accident Near Benbrook Causes Major Delays on Loop 820 Westbound.

Just after 5:20 pm today, a multi-vehicle crash involving a sprinter van brought westbound traffic on SW Loop 820 near Bryant Irvin to a crawl.

The entry ramp and two right lanes heading west were completely backed up, while the two left lanes remained open but barely moving due to rubbernecking from both directions.

First responders from Fort Worth Fire and Police quickly arrived on scene, managing traffic and attending to those involved. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported at this time.

Drivers are strongly advised to steer clear of the area and take alternate routes if possible. Delays are expected well into the evening as the scene is cleared and traffic slowly recovers.
