Morning Crashes Halt Routes Near Cresson and Granbury.

Drivers headed out Monday morning near Cresson hit a pair of major traffic headaches.

SH 171, just north of town, was shut down after a multi-vehicle accident scattered debris across the roadway. Cleanup crews managed to reopen the road by 8:30 AM, but drivers should brace for more delays as wreckers work to remove the damaged vehicles.

Not long after, another crash closed the outside eastbound lane of US 377 at Rockcrusher Hill between Cresson and Granbury. As of 9:15 AM, that lane remained shut, with slowdowns stretching in both directions.
