Meet Bread Lasso, Benbrook Library’s Newest Starter.

Benbrook Public Library sent a few new residents home with local bakers this week, and at least one already has a name.

Meet Bread Lasso.

The library recently hosted its Sourdough Starter Workshop, giving participants a chance to learn how to care for a starter and begin their own sourdough journey at home.

Now the library wants to see where those starters ended up. Participants can share photos of their newly adopted starters, including clever names, on the library’s Facebook post.
