Gardening is a year-round journey, and the Fort Worth Master Gardeners are stepping in to make sure local green thumbs are ready for the season ahead. Their monthly series at the Benbrook Public Library offers practical advice and hands-on tips for gardeners of all skill levels.
This month’s focus is fall preparation. On Friday, September 12, from 1 to 3 pm, Master Gardeners will guide participants through the steps needed to transition gardens from summer heat into cooler weather. From soil care to planting strategies, the session is designed to set residents up for a productive and colorful growing season.
The program is free and held at the Benbrook Public Library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street. It is part of an ongoing effort to make expert knowledge accessible to the community in a friendly, approachable way.
