BENBROOK, TX—A devastating fire reduced a sprawling mansion in Benbrook to rubble on Thursday afternoon, leaving behind a charred skeleton of what was once a luxury home.
The blaze erupted around noon at the 4900 block of Corriente Lane, engulfing the residence in flames as thick plumes of smoke billowed into the sky. Footage captured by SKY 4 revealed the inferno’s destructive force as the roof collapsed and flames consumed nearly every part of the house.
Remarkably, all three people inside at the time escaped unscathed, with no injuries reported. Their swift evacuation averted what could have been a tragic outcome.
Authorities are now working to determine the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation.
