A Sunday evening at Mustang Park took a frightening turn when lightning struck a canopy sheltering 14 people near Lake Benbrook around 6:30 PM.
A nearby tree and vehicle were also hit. Two individuals were taken to the hospital as a precaution, while others were treated at the scene. Several, including three minors, are still under hospital care as they recover.
