With an arctic blast fast approaching, the Benbrook Lady Bobcats softball team took the field a day early against the Rio Vista Lady Eagles. Unfortunately, the shift in schedule didn’t play in their favor.
Rio Vista came in locked and loaded, controlling the game with strong defense and an explosive offense. The Lady Bobcats managed to plate two runs, but the Lady Eagles’ six-run performance proved too much to overcome, keeping them undefeated at 4-0.
Now 4-7 on the season, the Lady Bobcats turn their focus to the Brock Tournament, weather permitting.
