I-30 Ramp Closures Add to Ongoing Traffic Shifts in West Fort Worth.

For drivers along I-30, it is not just the main lanes seeing changes. Entrance ramps and exits across the corridor are also shifting, especially during overnight construction tied to the FM 2871 bridge project.

On multiple nights between April 7 and April 17, eastbound entrance ramps from Spur 580 and Chapel Creek Boulevard will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Those closures line up with full eastbound lane shutdowns, meaning drivers will need to plan alternate routes before getting on the highway.

Westbound traffic will see similar changes. The entrance ramp from Las Vegas Trail will be closed overnight from April 13 through April 17 and again April 20 through April 23, with drivers redirected to the Cherry Lane entrance.

Beyond the nightly work, several longer-term changes remain in place. A right lane closure continues eastbound between Linkcrest Drive and Spur 580, while some exits and entrances, including Linkcrest Drive access points and the Walsh Ranch Parkway exit, remain closed for extended construction. In some cases, those closures will last into 2027.

For many in Benbrook and nearby areas, the challenge is not just one closure but keeping up with a pattern of changes that affect when and how you get on the road.
