Benbrook residents may have slept through some late-night drama as a high-speed motorcycle chase tore through town.
Mutliple law enforcement agencies, including the Benbrook Police, pursued a rider and passenger from the Whiskey Flats area, racing down Highway 377 and weaving through Benbrook before the chase finally ended in Lake Worth.
While the reason for the attempted escape hasn’t been confirmed, speculation points to speeding as the likely trigger. Fortunately, the reckless ride ended without injuries or fatalities, though the duo didn’t outrun the law—both were taken into custody.
