BENBROOK, TX — Looking to beat the heat and try something wildly creative this summer?
On Saturday, June 14, the Benbrook Public Library is hosting a hands-on special effects makeup workshop perfect for teens and adults looking to sharpen their spooky skills.
Led by FX artist Bri Macias, this free class will cover techniques for realistic cuts, bruises, and burns — perfect for aspiring artists, theater lovers, or anyone ready to dip a brush into the world of horror makeup. It’s open to ages 13 and up, but space (and supplies) are limited to the first 20 who register.
The workshop takes place at the Benbrook Public Library, 1065 Mercedes St. To reserve your spot or learn more, visit benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.
