Finding That Elusive Hunter Serial Number to Set Up Your Hydrawise App.

BENBROOK, TX — If you’ve recently installed a Hunter irrigation system and are struggling to get the Hydrawise app up and running, you’re not alone.

One local resident sparked a helpful online discussion after asking where to locate the serial number on their system. Turns out, the answer depends on which model you’ve got mounted to your wall.

If you’re using an HC, HC-400, HCC, or HPC controller, your serial number is usually hiding on the back of the unit. Yep, the part drilled into the wall. If it’s tough to remove, try the touchscreen method instead. From the Home screen, tap Status, then select Controller Status or Connection Status to pull up the alphanumeric serial code.

Have a Pro-C Controller with a Hydrawise faceplate? Remove the faceplate and flip it over. The serial number is printed right on the back.

If you’re working with the X2 Controller and WAND module, make sure you’re checking the actual WAND module, not the main controller. The white sticker or engraved number on the WAND is what you’ll need to plug into the Hydrawise app to get things rolling.

Still can’t find it? A few more steps might help: unplug the controller to safely remove it from the wall, or revisit the touchscreen if your model supports it.
