In Ventana, just outside Benbrook, residents recently noticed film crews setting up along Vaquero and nearby streets. Equipment trucks, crews moving in and out, and homes being prepped pointed to something bigger than a typical day in the neighborhood.
Neighbors quickly connected the activity to earlier reports that crews for Taylor Sheridan’s series “Lioness” had been scouting homes in the area. Some residents say their houses were considered before production settled on a nearby location.
For those living close by, the experience has been part curiosity, part excitement. One neighbor described opening the front door to find filming already underway across the street. Others shared that while their homes were not selected, the idea of being considered still felt like a story worth telling.
For now, it has given neighbors something different to talk about, and a close-up look at how a production like this comes together right outside their front doors.
