ERCOT Expects Power Grid to Hold Amid Arctic Blast.

As bitter cold temperatures grip Benbrook and much of North and Central Texas this week, ERCOT has issued a weather watch from Feb. 19-21.

ERCOT is anticipating higher electricity demand but assuring that grid conditions should remain stable.

With temperatures plunging between 7°F and 18°F—and wind chills dropping as low as -10°F—residents are urged to prepare for the extreme weather.

While ERCOT reports no expectation of an energy emergency, it continues to monitor conditions closely.
