Calling all young artists! Are you ready for September’s Tween Art class? This month, you’ll get creative with oil pastels.
Head over to the Benbrook Public Library on Saturday, October 11th, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a fun-filled Get Creative art class for tweens, held in the Kathy Ledford Meeting Room.
These classes are designed for beginners aged 9 to 12 and offer a vibrant introduction to the art world. Each session will explore key elements of artistic expression, delve into the works of historical or contemporary artists, and provide participants with hands-on experience using mediums like paints, pencils, inks, or watercolors. By the end of the class, each young creator will leave with their masterpiece.
What to Expect:
- All Supplies Provided: No need to bring anything—the library supplies everything you’ll need.
- Guided Projects: Each session features a structured project to be completed within the allotted time.
- Hands-On Learning: Participants must follow instructions, create independently, and clean up their tools.
- Tween-Only Environment: These sessions are tailored specifically for tweens. Parents are encouraged to discuss any special needs for assistance with library staff before registering.
